Environment: Located in a small village in Lijilong Mountain, there is an independent parking lot for self-driving, which is free, and there are slow charging piles, 1.6 yuan per kilowatt-hour, which is new energy friendly Facilities: There is an outdoor small swimming pool, which is not big overall, suitable for children. The village is full of tea gardens, suitable for casual walks, and there is a shared space on the first floor for quiet sitting Service: Both the parking command guy and the restaurant chef are very enthusiastic, especially the front desk Cui. We came late, she also helped us check in and took us to the door of the room, and arranged breakfast for the children, which was very thoughtful There is a tea village below the village, and there is a green tea nearby, which are all popular restaurants. We loved everything about this hotel. It’s located in front of the Xihu park offering beautiful views of the lake and pagoda. The room was very clean and modern with all the amenities you may need. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice of Asian and western food. We had to share a table with other guests because the dining area didn’t have enough small tables. Overall, totally recommend for any type of travelers ✨

Coming to the beautiful Hangzhou again, I chose this Mercure Hotel (Fengqi Road, West Lake), and the experience was perfect💯! First of all, the location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. There is a bus stop outside and the subway station is only a hundred meters away! Secondly, every staff member of the hotel is extremely professional and treats customers warmly and friendly! The hotel's hardware facilities are first-class and intelligent, and the fitness equipment is brand new to meet the needs of exercise! Finally, please look at the pictures. The breakfast is rich in variety, and Chinese and Western food can satisfy your various taste buds! It is worth praising that the pictures on the Internet are exactly the same as the actual ones, without false propaganda! Recommended to everyone!

Our party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

Overpriced family hotel with outstanding views but room for improvement. I reserved the room a week before arrival, which meant the room rate was almost 2000 RMB a night. At this price, I was expecting excellence and arrived to mediocrity. I travelled with a Chinese friend and when we arrived, although the room was booked in my name, they chose to speak to my companion. When I tried to speak, the staff smiled condescendingly and then continued to talk to my friend. I was surprised to receive xenophobic behaviour in modern China, especially since I can converse in Chinese and there are many translation and AI chatbots to assist with communication. We walked to the room and on inspection we discovered the door hinge was broken, dust and hair on the floor, hair on the mattress which was accompanied by a yellow stain (photos 3-7). As the staff couldn't communicate in English, I messaged Trip.com and decide to resolve the issues the following day. The staff had been informed of the poor quality of the check-in and the cleanliness of the room and offered to upgrade us to their sister hotel, Banshanyinzhu Resort. The view from the room (photo 1 & 2) was stunning and the room looked pristine how on inspection the room had not been deep cleaned since either its construction or refurbishment with dust in the high shelves, on the shower head, sawdust behind the bedhead, leftover building materials under both sinks (photo 8-11). We informed the hotel, as we had been given a WeChat, and they came to witness the simple inspection. They offered to move us again but as this was our last night and we chose to stay based upon the views and then went to dinner which the hotel offered as part of compensation for the previous night. Arriving at the restaurant, uncleanness was concurrent theme (photos 12-14) with the dishes not being clean and the lazy suzanne not being wiped down. Fortunately the completely meal for two was well portioned and seasoned (photos 15-18). After a filling and tasty meal, I had a shower and felt a slight pain on my foot to discover that the nails attaching the carpet protruded through and some flooring was broken causing a minor scratch. All of this could have been avoided had the staff been more diligent. Did I overpay? Yes Was the service mediocre? Yes Are these challenges easy to overcome? Yes Have other customers made similar complaints? Yes Will the hotel improve? I hope so Is the location memorable andbeautiful? Yes Would I revisit? Yes Regardless of the fact they have some untrained and unprofessional employees and they need to improve their cleaning standard and ensure that maintenance does a proper inspection after a fit and finish, the location is great and it's very easy to get into the park. It's very family orientated and I'm sure children could make lifelong friends here. If you're considering going, I'd highly recommend price watching. It's not a perfect product so don't overpay, like I did, and expect a 5☆ experience.

Lovely hotel in the middle of West Creek/ Xixi National Wetlands Park in Hangzhou. The hotel and service offerings are excellent, located in a very secluded spot away from the hustle and bustle, great for relaxation and enjoying the serene and tranquil surroundings. There is a small lake in the middle of the hotel, which I understand is owned and managed by the hotel. The views are wonderful and better than going to the famed West Lake (way too touristy and crowded). I think this hotel has a lot going for it, even though it’s not a known brand. I would say some things for improvement are as follows: Must, must open a spa. AmanFayun, Banyan Tree, Anh Luh and Four Seasons all have spa’s and they’re at roughly the same price point. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but for some people this would put them off from booking here. Gym. This place needs an on-site gym for obsessed exercise freaks like me (and other health obsessives that want to go to an all-inclusive resort). Also, with the yummy high calorie food offerings in the restaurant, I would like to work those calories off and not worry about getting home fatter than when I left! Restaurant – Excellent service from the wonderful manager, who I forgot to ask her name and all her staff. Very good manners from all the staff, very quiet voices, barely can hear them speak amongst themselves. However there needs to be more of an international offering for people that visit from outside China (US/ Europe, India/ South East Asia/ Gulf countries, who all would probably stay here in the future). There should be another restaurant that offers international fayre, as well as the traditional Chinese restaurant, so both sets of visitors are catered for, and more choice is always good for people that stay longer than 3 days. And vegetarian/ vegan options would be very appreciated. The “Savoir resort” is not mentioned on Didi maps or on Baidu maps, and the Chinese name bears absolutely no resemblance to the English name 杭州所见 – 西溪度假酒店. Foreign people may have problems finding this location on their maps/ getting here without help (the less help that is required, the better). The two top-end rooms (6999 yuan a night and 15,000 yuan a night) cannot be booked on 携程 （Ctrip） or Trip.com. I think there should be 5 – 10 pictures on the site showing these rooms as bookable. I take a long time researching a hotel before booking, so the more information available, the better. The boat trip in the hotel is way better than the boat trip offered outside the hotel. I really enjoyed it, but I don’t think many people use it, which is a shame of a great resource. The fact this hotel has its own private lake is something that makes it stand out from the other hotels. PS , I cannot upload my videos of the boat trip inside the hotel's lake because the file is too big :'(

It was my first trip to Hangzhou. I wanted to celebrate my husband’s birthday here and it was totally impromptu. What I was looking for: 1) a closer location to the West lake - to walk there, not to ride; 2) a balcony or courtyard; 3) and/or at least a beautiful view and surroundings; 4) as we love tea and really interested in Chinese tea culture, some tea plantation nearby could be a plus! Not many hotels seemed to meet my requirements and those which fit were way beyond our budget. Xunzhenshe hotel looked very pretty but their description was not very clear. Anyway, considering that I was booking our room just a day (!) before our arrival on Friday night, Xunzhenshe seemed to be my only choice with just two rooms left. To be honest, I didn’t expect much when we arrived. However, from the beginning the service was outstanding with a personal approach. At the hotel they greeted us as we were VIPs. Celia, an English-speaking lady, who contacted me after my booking, was extremely helpful. She gave us few recommendations about Hangzhou and the area nearby. She showed us the tea plantation just next to the hotel and a room where farmers were drying tea leaves - it was quite short but interesting introduction to the hotel environment. The hotel itself is owned and managed by a former architect. The building was built based on construction principles of the Song dynasty. As I understand, all ground floor units have their own courtyard. There is a parking lot, a tea room and a restaurant at the hotel. We were given a non-smoking one-bedroom apartment in a quieter part of the hotel and could enjoy our morning tea in our small but elegant courtyard. The apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. There was a kitchen and a dining room with a huge table (we didn’t use this room though). The breakfast buffet was included in the rate, however they offered mostly Chinese food (no problem for us as we love it). Our dinner and breakfast food were delicious! Also, we so much appreciate totally unexpected birthday presents to my husband. Upon arrival he found a little gift with a touching handwritten birthday message and then birthday noodles were served at the restaurant. So, it was very unique and memorable celebration! After all, I was really happy with my hotel’s choice. To conclude what we loved the most about this hotel: 1. Attentive and caring service 2. Nature and beautiful surroundings 3. Very good location: just next to the West lake park and bridges. Walkable distance to the famous night show Impression and Su Causeway. Not far away to Leifeng pagoda and Longjing and Meijiawu villages. 4. Good Chinese restaurant with a terrace just next to the tea plantation 5. Amazing tea Me and my husband had a great time in Xunzhenshe. Highly recommend it to those who love places with soul.

This hotel is very new and beautiful...If you are physically fit, you can go hiking😊The housekeeper's service is also excellent👍 As soon as you enter the suite, you can see the outdoor private hot spring bath in the courtyard. It is very large and can be used by the whole family. In the evening, the housekeeper will help fill the water in the bath. After dinner, take a bath and all fatigue will disappear. It feels very relaxed and comfortable. This is why I chose this hotel. This hotel not only has a good private hot spring bath, but also has great scenery and food. The afternoon tea by the pool and the sumptuous bonfire dinner are really atmospheric. I like its chopped pepper fish head the most. It is spicy, fresh and flavorful, super appetizing and delicious😍 Its room is a duplex room with a living room downstairs and a bedroom upstairs. It is very large and spacious. There is also a terrace on the second floor where you can sunbathe, drink tea and chat. The room is also very clean. This hotel is really worth recommending. It is absolutely worth the money👍. I will stay there next time if I have the chance.
