I unfortunately booked an executive suite. Firstly, its location was inconveniently far from the elevator, and it seems all executive suites across all floors are situated in the same corner spot. The suite was definitely overpriced for its small size, and the layout was poorly designed. Furthermore, the amenities were neglected; the Jacuzzi was dirty, broken, emitted a foul odor when operated, and even expelled debris. I reported this to the front desk, and they moved me to another suite, but it had the exact same problems. I absolutely do not recommend anyone choose an executive suite; it's a complete waste of money.
My ratings:
Executive Suite Design & Location: 2/10
Overall Cleanliness: 8/10 (though they could improve by changing towels more frequently)
Breakfast: 1/10 (Too focused on Asian food, despite most guests being Arabs, especially Saudis)
Pricing (Value for Money): 5/10 (Overpriced)
View & Hotel Location: 5/10
I suggest they lower their prices and encourage guests to choose a standard room with a river view. They should also pay more attention to offering Eastern, Arabic, and Western food options. Finally, some staff members were notably unwelcoming towards Arab guests and made no effort to provide better service.
Location is strategic at Jalan Padjajaran Indah V which has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and lounges along the road. You will never have to travel far to get your coffee (Point Coffee, Starbucks and Tanmu), the famous Ibu Rahayu Soto, Japanese food (Sushi Matsu and Yujo) and evening drinks at the lounges nearby (Barcelona, Bulan Madu Brew, etc).
Checking in and out was smooth with friendly staff. Room was large, clean, air conditioning good, water pressure strong and bed was comfortable. The hotel has a swimming pool and gym.
Breakfast was good with all local and Western food. Will repeat my stay if I am in Bogor.
The hotel has many rooms and a great location, very close to the pedestrian street. It's quite crowded and feels a bit noisy, and the facilities are a bit old. I was woken up promptly at 4 AM by prayer calls over the loudspeaker. Vehicle noise wasn't too bad, but being close to the railway, you can hear the train sounds. The service attitude was decent. Breakfast was okay, with a good variety, but nothing I particularly loved.
We had a truly outstanding experience at this hotel, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we were made to feel welcome right away.
The room was immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail—from the lighting to the amenities—made the stay feel both luxurious and relaxing.
The hotel facilities were equally impressive. The common areas were beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the property was calm and inviting. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, varied, and delicious, with plenty of options to suit different tastes and dietary.
Overall, this hotel delivers exceptional service, comfort, and value. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, stress-free experience.
My stay at Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage was pure bliss. The elegant room, mountain breeze, and panoramic views created a peaceful retreat. I loved the cozy ambiance and top-notch service. The location near Dago’s attractions made exploring easy. A perfect blend of luxury and nature—highly recommended.
Honestly, this is the most crowded hotel I've ever stayed at. It was difficult to find parking, but luckily there was a staff member to help park the car. It was a bit of a hassle if you left something in the car because the parking lot was quite far, and they had to take me there on a motorbike 😅.
For breakfast, there were many menu options, but because it was extremely crowded, many items ran out and took a long time to be refilled. Plates and glasses also ran out and weren't refilled quickly. There was a lot of food, but the taste was standard. They had everything from gudeg, nasi kuning, pasta, an Indomie station, and even Japanese food.
Kids' activities were also plentiful but pretty standard. Because it was so crowded, it felt cramped 🙏🏻. The free playground was small, and the ball pit cost an additional 75k. The mini zoo was okay; animal food cost 20k. Cooking classes cost another 125k, and even requesting a birthday cake was an extra charge.
Our superior twin room had very standard facilities, nothing special for the 1 million IDR-ish price. It was a bit musty, the bed size felt like 100cm, and the towels and pillowcases were less than fresh, looking rather dull.
Would I come back? No, once was enough 🙏🏻👍
The breakfast was excellent, the down side was the western selection very limited but it happened to the most hotels in Indonesia (except in Bali and some hotels in Jakarta)). The staff’s are the gems, very kind and helpful, outstanding service.
All your staffs are absolutely stunning and very inspiring. They are great workers they deserve more applause and honorarium.
Im in the field of hospitality industries also and I experienced an amazing feeling in your Hotel

GGuest UserExcellent service in a wonderful hotel. Hotel is far fron Bandung city centre but it is worth the view of you are there for tranquil relaxation. Koce its fresh air on hilltop surrounding.
Service staff is attentive and makes an effort to make our stay extra special.
CChenhaishichenThe room was quite good, and I was very satisfied with the hygiene. The service attitude was excellent, and the breakfast had a good variety. We stayed in room 01, which had two glass walls, offering fantastic natural light and views. However, the motorcycle noise outside was quite loud. Booking in advance was very cost-effective.
SSeeMay LThe Cordella Hotel in Cirebon offers a luxurious retreat with impeccable service. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with elegance and warmth. BBayusatriowIf you're craving an escape that's both refreshing and visually inspiring, Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar hits the sweet spot.
Tucked away in the cooler, greener side of Bandung—up in Dago Pakar—this hotel blends Sundanese heritage with modern aesthetics. From the lobby alone, I knew I was in for a treat. Wood carvings, vintage tiles, curated art pieces... it felt like walking into a living gallery.
But the real magic? The view. Imagine waking up to pine-covered hills and misty mornings from your balcony. It’s a retreat above the clouds.
🚗 Getting There
From Bandung Train Station: ~30 minutes by taxi or ride-hailing app
From the city center: ~20–25 minutes
The road winds uphill, so expect slightly cooler air the higher you go. You will feel the difference.
🎯 Nearby Attractions & How to Get There:
Tebing Keraton – 10 min drive
For a sunrise above the clouds. It’s a cliffside viewpoint with jaw-dropping scenery—bring a jacket and a camera. The road is narrow, better with small cars or scooters.
Taman Hutan Raya (Tahura) – 7 min drive
Forest park with light hiking trails, Dutch & Japanese caves, and peaceful greenery. Great for families with kids or elders.
Dago Dream Park – 15 min drive
A family-friendly amusement park with Instagrammable spots and kid-friendly rides. You can rent an internal shuttle to explore.
Lawangwangi Creative Space – 5 min drive
Art gallery + café with a stunning sunset terrace. One of my go-to places for coffee and creative vibes.
Cafe D’Pakar – 5 min drive
Open-air dining with epic views of the valley. Come early for a spot by the edge. It gets chilly in the evening—pack a sweater.
🏨 Why I Loved the Hotel
Infinity pool facing the forest 🏞️
Spacious rooms with local design touches
Bathtub with mountain view (yes, really)
Rooftop bar + locally inspired cuisine
Peace and quiet — yet not far from the city
✨ Final Thoughts
Hotel Indigo Dago Pakar is more than just a place to stay—it's where nature, culture, and creativity collide. Whether you're on a romantic getaway, a creative workcation, or a family staycation, this place delivers on all fronts.
MMBFBisriThe hotel is a nice choice for a trip with family or as a couple. There is a water park inside the hotel complex and some attractions involving animals. It is also nice to jog around the hotel complex and to do some light sport, such in the badminton court and table tennis. All facilities are nice, except that they dont have any spa service. The hotel restaurants are nice with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a nice souvenir shop.
I am particularly amazed with the exterior of the main hotel lobby and its interior that connects the lobby to the main restaurant have the Jurassic Park vibe (the first movie).
As it is part of the Taman Safari group, by stayinng there guests are entitled to a reduced price for visiting the Taman Safari Zoo. In the end we spent one full day at the hotel and one full day at the Taman Safari Zoo. It was a nice stay, but next time, we may stay at their sister hotel that is closer to the Taman Safari Zoo itself.
GGuest UserPros:
+ The place looks beautiful and has a beautiful view, but the trees in the hotel block most of the view.
+ The staff are very friendly and speak English.
+ Good value for the money.
Cons:
- The place is averagely clean, but not very clean. The corners of the room, as well as the wooden stairs in the bathroom, are unkempt. The toilet has yellow water stains.
- The bed sheets and covers are old and have many stains. The duvet cover is much larger than the duvet. It's shameful that a hotel of this stature can't provide decent duvet covers.
- The windows don't open, and the room feels stuffy.
- The breakfast, in my opinion, is poor because I smelled something bad. The noodles, cupcakes, and waffles, except for the fried rice and soup, made me unable to eat anything at breakfast.
SSander ScheerFor the price ab excellent place. But biggest feedback is that the WiFi signal only reaches the hallway and not until the rooms itself (at least on the 5th floor, where I stayed). But overall a fine place.
MmochExcellent Stay – Highly Recommended!
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I immediately felt at home.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the room design and cleanliness.
The location of the hotel was perfect – close to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, and the service at the restaurant was excellent.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would definitely come back again!
