On arrival I was welcomed at check in, the man suggested if I would prefer a double to my twin room what I booked by mistake, so I had a double room.. this was really helpful and nice so thank you to Noor safi on reception. The room itself was clean, good size and an amazing view over the sea. The pool on the top was also nice and the views amazing. One slight negative was the taps in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean and good but the taps are motion censored what I gess is good for saving water but at times annoying. However this wouldn't impact on me staying here again. However, four bottles of free mineral water were given every day during the two days we stayed, which is very grand for a Jordanian hotel. When we were drinking coffee at the open-air cafe on the first floor (along the street), if we encountered tourists chatting up the welcome security, they would come over and politely interrupt to help us avoid unnecessary harassment and chatting, and ensure that the overly chatting male tourists left before he left! We really enjoyed our stay at UFO Luxotel. One thing to note is that the hotel is not within the Wadi Rum protected area, so it is about 5 minutes drive to the main gate. The hotel does have some partnership with the local bedouins who can take you on a desert or camel tour, but it is better to liaise with the local bedouin on your own. The bubble tents are really nice, made of plastic, comes with a standing shower, washbasin and a comfortable bed. There is air conditioning inside the tent. Outside the tent, there is a hammock and some chairs. At night, the weather in the desert can get quite cold so we enjoyed the special fur blanket provided in the room. There was a stargazing photography course but we did not sign up for it. The food was absolutely delicious, from the dinner with local dishes and underground baked lamb, to the breakfast buffet. Since our tent was quite far from the entrance, there was a buggy to send us to our room. But on the day of the checkout, after calling reception, the buggy took a bit longer than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the desert in these luxury tents, and the price was affordable.

Staying in a panoramic dome tent at the Memories Aisha camp inside Wadi Rum was a truly memorable experience. From check-in, to delicious meals in a half-cave restaurant, to a private deck facing giant rocks, to an optional sunset desert outing, they have thought through many aspects of unique experience spending time in Wadi Rum. Our driver for the excursion brew a traditional Bedouin whiskey (tea) by collecting woods and making fire. At night, we could gaze endless expanse of pitch-dark sky filled with stars we didn’t know existed. We could fall asleep while looking at them through the tent at night. It was one-of-a-kind evening. We highly recommend this camp for a stay in Wadi Rum.

We spent 7 nights in Dweik Hotel 3 at the end of December with my family: 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We were very satisfied with everything. We had 2 interconnected rooms, the rooms were cleaned and new towels were given every day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are big and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the scrambled eggs and omlettes are made according to your taste right in front of your eyes. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially Ragheb, the manager, who was of great help for us in everything: with the transport to and from the airport, the trip to Wadi Rum (including the jeep-tour and the best-ever supper in the middle of Wadi Rum!) and the trip to the amazing Petra. Ragheb gave great ideas and practical suggestions whatever issues we asked him about (for example where to buy delicious dates or spices). The hotel has a private beach, where a shuttle bus can take you right from the hotel. Ragheb also suggested further programs to us, definitely you can turn to him with any questions you might have. I contacted him weeks before our trip and he always answered quickly. The location of the hotel is perfect: restaurants, bakery, pharmacy, the sea is within walking distance. Jordan is very unique, Jordanian people are very friendly. We would definitely like to go back:) Thank you:)

This is a must if you are visiting Jordan! My family and I highly regret that we stayed only one day and night. We experienced an incredible day with Omar and his 8-year-old son Wisam. Wisam climbed on all the mountains and rocks with us and in the evening, after dinner, he asked us to play Uno which he played by his own, special rules :) He was genuinely one of the best parts of the trip! Omar was, except for his son, our favourite person we met in Jordan. When you meet him, you instantly feel trust towards him. He is a very smart and well-balanced person. The place they have built is lovely! It is much more luxurious than we had expected in the middle of the desert. The part we loved the most was the big tent where we were served dinner and breakfast. They have a big fireplace in the middle of the tent, everyone sits around, smokes shisha and talks. That way you get to spend time with the local people (Omar, Wisam, the chef and their friends who visited) and the other guests. Beautiful atmosphere! And one more win: the chef (unfortunately I forgot his name) made us the most delicious food we had in all of Jordan (and all the food in Jordan was already amazing)! So, if it's not clear by now, I LOVED the day in Wadi Rum organised for us by Omar. I hope I will get to come back!

Our stay at Shaheen Camp was an incredible experience, even though we were transferred to Hasan Zawaideh Camp due to the low season. Since the camps are next to each other, and likely have the same owners, the transition was seamless, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff made sure we felt at home, offering delicious tea, traditional dance, and live music, creating a truly immersive Bedouin experience. The variety of tours and activities they provided allowed us to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Wadi Rum in an unforgettable way. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every meal felt like a special occasion, adding to the magic of our stay. The only minor point for improvement was the bed setup, as it was made up of two single beds combined, but honestly, this was such a small detail compared to the overall incredible experience we had. If you’re looking for a welcoming, authentic, and memorable stay in Wadi Rum, I highly recommend Shaheen and Hasan Zawaideh Camp. I would gladly return for another unforgettable adventure!

A phenomenal experience; one of few ”hotel quality” luxury camps in Wadi Rum that still fits into the desert experience. All typical Wadi Rum activities are available, including hiking and climbing in the desert, 4WD and pickup truck tours of the wadi, sunrise and sunset watching, offroading, and more. There's also a pool and Jacuzzi in the camp, so it's a great place to sit and relax and cool down. They provide excellent and over-abundant food during meals, with water, sweet Bedouin tea, coffee, and soft drinks included. A barista is available and you can get cappuccinos and espresso-based drinks charged to the room. Alcohol is not provided in the camp, but guests can bring their own alcohol and have it served for them at the camp. The place stands out in a few ways: WiFi is available in the lobby area; you can experience a pool and Jacuzzi inside wadi rum; and the camp provides gorgeous sitting areas overlooking phenomenal views. It is incredibly far from other camps and you can hear complete silence, especially over night. No other camp is in sight, so all the views are solely that of nature.
