Pros: 1. The location is super convenient, right next to the bus terminal and a shopping street, easy to find along the road. 2. The room layout is incredibly well-designed. It has high ceilings, a perfectly square shape, and the bed is against the wall, facing a large, openable window. There's a good distance from the building opposite, making for excellent space planning. Anyone who frequently stays in Japanese hotels will understand what I mean – this is a big plus! 3. The hotel clearly follows traditional hotel procedures, which are very detailed. The staff provided service with a smile, and there was a local Japanese staff member who, despite speaking broken Mandarin, genuinely tried to offer Chinese service, which was really impressive. 4. The room was very clean, free of any odd smells or noise, and the bedding was super comfortable. I finally got a good night's sleep on my last night in Kumamoto. Cons: 1. I have to complain about the washbasin; it's too small. It's difficult for anyone with a lot of cosmetics to spread them out, and items tend to fall off easily. Initially, looking at the hotel pictures and the lobby, I thought it was an old hotel and didn't have high expectations, especially thinking a small room might not be great. But it turned out to be really good! I had stayed at another hotel previously, and this one is significantly better by comparison. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Beautiful hotel with Mountain Views. The hotel looks spectacular and is very clean. The room is very spacious. Location is perfect as it shares the same building as the mall. You can use the lift which brings you directly to the mall. The mall has shops like Uniqlo, ABC Mart and many more, including a food court with various food options. There are 3 washing machines in both the male & female public onsen area, however it is pretty difficult to get a chance to wash your clothes. The hotel seems like a popular wedding venue, however it does not disrupt the stay as the guests do not seem to linger in the lobby at all. There's a Nescafé coffee machine which you can help yourself to outside the public onsen, along with Kumamoto's fresh spring water tap for drinking. For parking, please avoid the carpark infront of the mall as it is expensive. If you're facing the mall, the hotel's carpark is at the left side basement of the mall. The hotel provides a discounted price at off-peak periods. It's best to leave your hotel before 12 noon. It is paid parking and there's a ticket machine at the basement entrance of the hotel. The hotel location is perfect as it is also very close to a station.

Service: friendly staff assisting us with the use of self check-in machine, and providing us with a room with wonderful room. Amenities: take what you want and need among the amenities provided near the reception area. Facial mask provided as well. Facilities: there is a microwave located on every floor at the lift area. About 4 washing machines with dryer located at level 1 Location: fantastic with Shimotori just a few steps away from it. 7-11 and McDonald’s at the entrance of the walking street. Further up there is Cocosa Shopping Mall and with a supermarket at its basement. Found this place more interesting than Sakura Machi. However most shops closed fairly early at around 8pm. Parking: though the hotel does not provided parking, we managed to park at the nearby building with coupon carpark (1 min walk) which is affiliated to the hotel (paid JPY1200 for overnight parking between 3pm to 11am). Remember to obtain the JPY200 discount coupon from the staff for your carpark payment.

Booked this hotel last minute and it was surprisingly cheap, definitely worth the price. The only downside is there's no parking. I wasn't feeling well that day and just parked across the street, which ended up costing me 1300 JPY for 12 hours. Turns out, if I had looked around a bit more, there were plenty of spots nearby for 500-600 JPY for the same duration.

The room was great! The luxury floor offers complimentary instant noodles and drinks, perfect for a late-night snack. It's very close to Kumamoto Station, just a 3-minute walk to the left after exiting. There's a Big C next door, though not very big, and across the street is Amu, which pretty much covers all your shopping and dining needs. There's also a large supermarket on the first floor of the mall, which is a great bonus.

The hotel is new, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. Everything about it is great, and the high floors offer a decent view. Most importantly, the location is extremely convenient, making it excellent value for money. If you're planning to explore the surrounding areas by bus instead of Shinkansen, I highly recommend staying here as the bus terminal is right downstairs. There's also a mall and a shopping street downstairs, featuring brands like Montbell.

Hotel is in a pretty good location. Close to kumamoto JR station by Tram and walkable distance to the sakuramachi bus terminal/mall (5min). Serviable by both red and blue tram lines as well. Room is slightly bigger than the usual japanese business hotel. Pricewise was really affordable as well ($40+ sgd/night 1 pax). The hotel provides room cleaning for concurrent 3 days stay I believe (no daily cleaning, only change of towels), but you will need to pass the keycard/key tothe front desk on the day of the cleaning. And then retrieve the key back when come back to the hotel after the cleaning. No microwave in room, you need to go down to the lobby to use the only microwave in the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is a cheap and good stay.

This Japanese onsen hotel met all my expectations. Every day after coming back, I could enjoy a hot spring bath. Inside, there's one hot and one cold bath, plus a sauna. Outside, there's an open-air hot spring. After bathing, you can choose from four types of ice cream and read Japanese manga for free. You can also pay for a massage. For the late-night snack from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, they offer matcha and hot chocolate, along with a vegetarian ramen that comes with a quarter-egg. Overall, I looked forward to returning to the hotel every day after my excursions. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

GGuest UserMy recent stay at Hotel Kadoman left me thoroughly impressed. The generously sized rooms provided ample space to unwind and relax, adding an extra level of comfort to my stay. What truly stood out, however, were the culinary offerings. Both dinner and breakfast were a culinary delight, with each dish crafted to perfection and bursting with flavor. The service was equally commendable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and memorable experience. If you're looking for a hotel that offers spacious accommodations, delicious dining options, and excellent service, look no further than Hotel Kadoman.

DDamagulaishengxianjiejimoThe room was smaller than expected, and the design felt quite impractical. There's a partition right after the door that makes the entrance incredibly narrow. One person in our group uses a wheelchair, and we couldn't even get it into the room. I was also pretty unhappy with the front desk staff's attitude. At check-in, we were told breakfast had strict time slots and was limited to just forty minutes. We chose the 7:00-7:40 slot, but the front desk told me there were no tables left and insisted we eat breakfast in two separate sittings. How can a group on the same itinerary eat at different times? That's completely unreasonable. If they have such rules, they should make them clear before booking, not spring them on us at check-in. I really don't understand this hotel's logic. If they don't have enough seating, they should improve their capacity, not restrict guests' dining times. People stay at hotels for their own convenience, not to accommodate the hotel's schedule. I'm fluent in Japanese, and while I was arguing with a foreign front desk staff member about this, the Japanese staff next to her didn't say a word. It felt like they were pushing the non-Japanese staff out to take the heat. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, right next to the shopping street. Other than breakfast, everything else was satisfactory. Oh, and the breakfast itself was actually very mediocre. You'd get tired of it after just one day.

EEntitiOverall, very satisfied. This hotel is part of the same group as Sanmizuki and Shinmeikan. Sanmizuki is adjacent to Fukayama Sanso, located halfway up a mountain at the source of the hot spring. Guests can enjoy free access to the forest hot spring at Sanmizuki. The hot spring quality is superb, with abundant foam. The hotel provides free shuttle service. Before arriving, we contacted Ctrip to arrange for the hotel to pick us up from the bus station. The next day, we wanted to go to the Hirano Observatory. After gesturing at the front desk for a while, the hotel drove us there directly – a 10-minute drive! Walking would have taken an hour, thank you! Additionally, the front desk helped us book return bus tickets at check-in (there aren't many buses from Kurokawa Onsen to Fukuoka/Kumamoto each day, so booking in advance is essential to avoid missing out!). This was very helpful. The food was much more varied than at the neighboring Sanmizuki. The first night was kaiseki cuisine, and the second night was tomato and pork hot pot. Breakfast was different on both days, and the second day's meal included a complimentary drink. I recommend trying the perilla juice – it's delicious! The room, although it's a 10-year-old hotel, is much newer than the neighboring Shanshuimu Hotel. The room facilities were okay; the bathroom had a slight odor on the first day, which the staff quickly fixed. However, the hairdryer was too old! Hopefully, they can replace it with a new one.

Hhzhzhz77It is on the far left of Kurokawa. It is a little far from the center, but you can still walk there. There will be a car to help you take your luggage to the bus station. It is a big hotel. The dinner is also good. The environment is beautiful. It is just not as good as the river in the center, so it is not as good. If there are many people, you can consider this place. The rooms are bigger than those of the older hotels in the center, and the conditions are slightly better. The private bath is mediocre, but the large public bath is not bad. The service is very good. They also put the bracelet I left at the front desk.
