Phaya Thai Palace ⛪

#VisitBangkok Phaya Thai Palace Address - Ratchawithi Road, Thung Phaya Thai Subdistrict, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok Getting there - There are many ways to get there. If you are driving, park at Phramongkutklao Hospital (not much parking space) or take a bus to get off opposite the Children's Hospital or take the BTS to Anusawari Station and walk. I personally use a motorcycle to park before the exit of Phramongkutklao Hospital, which is on the Thewarat Sapharom Throne Hall side. Atmosphere/Location - Phaya Thai Palace is located in the heart of Bangkok, not far from the Victory Monument. After parking, cross the road and you will see Thewarat Sapharom Throne Hall. The structure is made of cement, surrounded by wooden doors on all 4 sides. Every roof and pillar are beautifully decorated in European style. In front, there is a Cupid statue fountain. The inside looks high and airy, magnificent. There is a low stage at the end. There is a mezzanine that can be climbed up as a balcony to prevent falling. The inner door is decorated with beautiful white curtains. Enter the area at Phaya Thai Palace In front is a large lawn with a statue of King Rama VI. Next is the Narasingh Coffee at Wang Phaya Thai (which I have posted before, you can go back and look at it). Looking from the outside, the Phaya Thai Palace has 3 floors. The top floor is like a high attic with windows all around. Before entering, there is the Phiman Chakri Throne Hall. When you walk in, there will be an officer to provide information to us and there will be a tour round to the top (but we didn't go). There are 3 zones in total. There is a walkway connecting the buildings. We walked around to the side and there is the Mekhala Ruchi Palace, a small two-story palace. The exterior is still in its original condition. It is beautiful. It looks very classic. Then we walked to the back of the Phaya Thai Palace. There is a Roman garden. It is a medium-sized garden with a fountain in the middle. There are Roman statues, columns and trees that are beautifully trimmed. For those who are interested in the beauty of the past, I recommend this place. Open for visits from 9:30–15:30. Closed every Monday-Wednesday-Friday. Score - Atmosphere 8/10 #Phaya Thai Palace #Phaya Thai
