#InsomniaInExhibition When our current perception of reality is disrupted and fragmented by changing technologies, explore the complex reality of the digital world through artworks by contemporary artists in the exhibition "Fragmented Reality: Selected Works from DC Collection". Fragmented Reality presents the concept of perception and interpretation of reality that is divided and assembled, reflecting the current state of technology that plays a role in changing our perception. This exhibition questions and invites us to understand the reality that is incomplete and consists of fragments of various experiences through contemporary artworks by artists of various nationalities displayed in this exhibition, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, photographs and installations. It is like sharing the stories and experiences of artists that have been affected by historical, social, political, economic and cultural changes over the centuries. This exhibition presents contemporary art exhibitions from the DC Collection archives, founded by Dr. Disphol Jansiri, which brings together works from artists from various disciplines around the world, including Olafur Eliasson (Denmark), Tester Gates (USA), Andreas Gerski (Germany), Ohsang Kwon (South Korea), Damien Hirsch (UK), Sai Kooning (Singapore), Yayoi Kusama (Japan), Jompet Kusvidanto (Indonesia), Nalini Malani (India), Kohei Nawa (Japan), Araya Ratsadjareonsuek (Thailand), Thomas Struth (Germany), Kara Walker (USA), Zhang Xiaogang (China). We will see artworks that reflect the concept of the exhibition, such as 👉 Kohei Nawa's stuffed deer and crystal ball It presents the individual and the collective through the combination of natural and digital objects, making us aware of the coexistence between the past and the present. 👉 Oh Sang Gwon's experimental sculptures propose a new concept in sculptural creation by using multiple layers of photographs to create new experiences of reality that are not bound by a single dimension of vision. 👉 Zhang Xiaogang's paintings reflect his childhood memories of being expelled to the countryside during China's Cultural Revolution. Images of indifferent faces, flickering lightbulbs, and propaganda-laden televisions reflect socialist ideas and political conflicts. 👉 Andreas Gursky's photographs of the Chao Phraya River combine nature and environmental issues. Water that appears abstract from a distance, but when viewed up close, reveals hidden garbage and pollution. 👉 Damien Hirst's sculpture of a disabled girl and falling donations, expressing the disenfranchisement of disabled people in the past and the inequality in today's society.
