Wat Sommanas, Thailand's Taj Mahal

He ordered the construction to dedicate to Queen Sommanas Wattanawadi, the first queen. - The temple uses Thai and Chinese architectural styles from the Rattanakosin period. It has a part that extends to the covered walkway of the chedi. The gable is in the shape of a crown and a royal crown. There is a large golden chedi in the Sri Lankan style with a high pointed top. Behind the chedi is the ordination hall, arranged in a single axis, similar to the plan of an Ayutthaya temple.
