Sivamokhaphiman Throne Hall, the heritage of the Front Palace

Phra Thinang Siwamokhaphiman is one of the important buildings in the National Museum, Bangkok. It used to be part of the Front Palace and was used as the royal audience hall during the reign of King Rama I. It is now preserved as a building for displaying art and antiques, focusing on displaying important Buddha images from various eras of Thailand, from the Dvaravati, Srivijaya, Lopburi, Sukhothai, Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin periods.
