I finally made it to Tiananmen Square. Watching the five-star red flag fluttering under the blue sky and white clouds, I was filled with indescribable excitement. The vastness of the square and the magnificence of the city tower complement each other. The red walls and yellow tiles appear even more solemn in the morning light, and every brick and stone seems to tell a story of history. Standing on the tower and looking down, I recalled October 1, 1949, when Chairman Mao declared to the world from Tiananmen Square that the Chinese people had stood up! At this moment, as a Chinese person who grew up under the red flag in a new China, I felt a surge of national pride. This trip to Tiananmen Square was not only a visual feast but also a spiritual baptism. I deeply understand that this land bears the blood of countless martyrs and the dreams of the Chinese people, and we will continue to guard this glory. Transportation tips: Subway preferred: It is recommended to take Line 1 to Tiananmen East/West Station, and exit from Exit B/D. The square is within walking distance. Avoid peak hours: Traffic is heavy during the morning and evening rush hours on working days. It is recommended to travel during off-peak hours or choose public transportation. Driving notes: Parking around the square is limited and expensive. Driving is not recommended unless necessary. Important notes: Reservation required: Reservations are required 1–7 days in advance through the official mini program. Separate reservations are required for the flag-raising ceremony. Security check and ID: A security check is required to enter the square.
