[Australia] Safe for kids! Cairns Esplanade Lagoon, an artificial beach in the city

#0yentravel The Cairns Esplanade Lagoon is a large free pool by the sea, so I decided to drop in. The weather was nice, and families and tourists were swimming and relaxing in the spacious lagoon, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. Some people were lying on the grass, and it was impressive to see people spending their time however they wanted. There was a cafe nearby, so even if you didn't swim, it was a pleasant place to stop by on your walk. I thought it was very Cairns-like to have such an open space in the middle of the city.
