There are 7 layers of round pagodas, each layer has niches with Buddha images all around. This style is similar to the pagodas of Wat Phuk Hong and Wat Ram Ping (Tapotharam) pagodas. It was built during the reign of King Tilokarat of Chiang Rai after King Tilokarat, the 10th king of the Mangrai Dynasty.
