Driving into the Chedi Plong community, I was struck by the old pagoda in the area of ​​Wat Chiang Chom. The highlight is the chimney-shaped pagoda. I read in the history that it is an architectural style that is assumed to have been influenced in part by Chinese pagodas. It can be found in 3 temples in Chiang Mai: Chedi Wat Ram Ping (Tapotharam), Chedi Wat Phuk Hong, and Chedi Wat Chiang Chom. The area around Wat Sa-ak is beautiful and very orderly. When I asked the temple, I found out that in the past, it was abandoned. It was recently renovated and there were monks residing there only a few years ago. The chapel was just built, not very big, and has very beautiful patterns. After paying respect to the principal Buddha image, I felt very fulfilled.
