Wat Umong (Suan Phutta Tham) is an ancient temple located in the west of Chiang Mai city and is located at the foot of Doi Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province, which is south of Chiang Mai University or in the alley behind Chiang Mai University. Inside the tunnel, there is a Buddha statue. We can walk under the tunnel to worship the Buddha and ask for blessings. On top of the tunnel is a Lanna-style pagoda. The front of the tunnel is covered with green moss.
