Hongyadong: the moment when your breath is taken away

📍Hongyadong, Chongqing, China (洪崖洞民俗风貌区) There are two main spots to admire Hongyadong: • The view from above on the bridge, to take in the full scale • The view from the riverside, allowing you to get up close to the city of spirits For me, the view from above was far more impressive😍 You get this surreal feeling of disbelief. When I first approached the edge of the bridge, I couldn’t breathe calmly for a minute. My eyes refused to believe that such a place exists and that I was seeing it in real life😳 I didn’t want to take photos or videos; I just wanted to stand there and soak in the view! But of course, eventually, the tripod and camera came out. The view from below, while beautiful, loses a bit of its magic due to the sheer number of people and photographers, each eager to offer their services🪄 P.S. Make sure to visit before 11 PM, as the lights are turned off after that.
