Hidden Peace at Buso Damak

#summervacay So I wandered out to Buso Damak in Okcheon not really knowing what I was walking into, and wow, it was so peaceful. It’s not some huge touristy spot, which honestly makes it even better. Just calm nature vibes, a quiet reservoir, and some beautiful walking paths that make you feel like you're in a Studio Ghibli movie. The water was crazy still, and the way the trees reflected off the surface? Chef’s kiss. I just kept walking with no real plan, occasionally stopping to take it all in or sit on a random bench like some reflective poet (lol). Saw maybe two other people the whole time, which made it feel like my own little nature escape. No big signs, no crowds, just birds, breeze, and chill. If you bring snacks and headphones, you could easily spend half a day here just decompressing. Buso Damak might not be flashy, but it’s got that quiet magic. Definitely a hidden gem worth wandering into.
