Snowy Buldan!

Back in the winter of 2008, I traveled to Buldan, Syria, and experienced a magical side of the town draped in snow. The crisp chill of the mountain air was invigorating, and the sight of the village’s stone houses adorned with icicles felt like stepping into a winter postcard. The streets were quiet, save for the laughter of children playing in the snow, their bright scarves and mittens standing out against the white backdrop. I remember sitting in a small café, sipping steaming mint tea, as snowflakes danced outside the frosted windows. The locals’ warmth and hospitality stood in stark contrast to the icy weather, making me feel right at home. From the snow-covered peaks, the view of the valley below was breathtaking—endless white stretching into the horizon. That winter in Buldan remains one of my most cherished memories, a serene escape filled with the beauty and tranquility of the season.
