The Palbongsan range has eight distinct peaks (hence the name), and by the time you reach the final one, you’ve earned those views. The trail is a rollercoaster, ups, downs, a few scrambles, and loads of spots that make you stop just to catch your breath (and take like a hundred pics). Trees line the path most of the way, and the way the light filters through? Chef’s kiss. Super dreamy. By the time I hit the 8th peak, my legs were toast, but the view made it all worth it. Ridge after ridge of green waves stretching out into the distance, pure mountain magic. You really feel like you conquered something. Bring water, snacks, and some good vibes.
