I wandered through the temple grounds, admiring the ancient buildings and lush green gardens, feeling as if I were in a spiritual world. Hualin Temple is a Buddhist temple with a long history, which preserves many precious cultural relics and Buddha statues. I was fortunate to see the golden Buddha statues and exquisite Buddhist artworks. These exhibits exuded a sacred atmosphere and made me feel the power and wisdom of Buddhist faith. There is a meditation hall inside the temple, and I had the honor of participating in a meditation experience. Sitting on the meditation cushion, I calmed my mind and focused on my breathing and the feelings in the present moment.
