Day 1: Tranquil Lakeside and Leisure Time In the morning, we arrived at the Jiulong Lake Resort located in the northern part of Guangzhou. The sight of lush mountains and emerald green lake greeted us, and the fresh air was invigorating. We strolled along the stone path by the lake, with distant mountains reflected in the water, as if we had stepped into an ink painting. At noon, we enjoyed authentic Lingnan cuisine at the lakeside restaurant, with the picturesque scenery as the perfect backdrop. In the afternoon, we tried our hand at the resort's golf course, swinging our clubs on the verdant lawn and basking in the leisurely sunshine. In the evening, we stayed at the lakeside resort hotel, where the serene night view of the lake soothed our travel fatigue. Day 2: A Dual Enjoyment of Nature and Culture The next day, we headed to the nearby Maofengshan Forest Park, a park renowned for its natural ecology, making it the best place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Climbing to the top of the mountain, we took in the panoramic view of Jiulong Lake, with layers of greenery and the vast lake complementing each other, leaving us mesmerized. After descending, we wandered along the forest trails, enjoying the symphony of birdsong and the rustling wind. In just two short days, the tranquility of Jiulong Lake and the purity of nature allowed us to truly slow down and regain inner peace and contentment.
