Standing above centuries-old paths was humbling ⏳🪨 Just a short walk away, we stepped into the peaceful Dafo Temple (Great Buddha Temple) 🛕 Tucked between the city buzz, this ancient Buddhist temple felt like a hidden sanctuary. The giant golden Buddha inside radiated calm and presence — a beautiful contrast to the busy streets outside. After recharging our spirit, we recharged our stomachs — with a truly local experience: Chaozhou-style beef hotpot 🥩🔥 Freshly sliced beef hung elegantly from steel racks, each cut more tender than the last. Dip, swirl, taste — perfect! Don’t miss the beef meatballs and handmade sauces — simple, fresh, unforgettable. At night, we strolled along the Pearl River, watching boats drift by under neon lights.
