Built during the Ming Dynasty, Guiyang Cuiwei Garden

Originally named Nan'an, Cuiwei Garden was first built during the Ming Xuande period (1426–1435) and has undergone several name changes throughout its history. It primarily consists of the magnificent and towering Gongnan Pavilion, the dignified and tranquil Longmen Academy, the elegant and refined Danhua Kongcui Garden, and the serene and secluded Hewu Corridor. Historical records describe it as "facing a clear pool in the front, backed by a high ridge at the rear, with peaks standing in a row, surrounded on both sides, and grass, trees, bamboo, and rocks arranged in a scattered and varied manner." It is an ancient architectural complex integrating a temple, ancestral hall, and garden, embodying the aesthetic ideal of dynamic and static harmony in classical Chinese architecture.
