|Provincial-level Protected "Golden Pagoda". Jiujiu Zhai Pagoda, an ancient building located in the Martyrs' Cemetery outside the north gate of Hancheng Ancient City, is the only provincial-level cultural relic protection unit in Hancheng. Its history can be traced back to the Jin Dynasty, when it was originally named Tanfa Pagoda, but was later destroyed in an earthquake. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the pagoda was rebuilt on its original site and named after the nearby Jiujiu Zhai Village. However, the people of Hancheng are more accustomed to calling it the "Golden Pagoda".
