Chuan Zhuang Desserts, a visual and taste adventure!

Langham Place in Mong Kok has two elevators spanning several floors under a glass ceiling, which is comparable to the feeling of riding a Ferris wheel. There are many restaurants in the venue, and the ones on the high floors where you can look out the windows are the most atmospheric! This time I went to Chuan Zhuang on the 12th floor. I discovered earlier that it had a walk-out platform, but unfortunately I was not able to sit on the platform or by the window that day... I needed to use some imagination. The dishes my friend ordered, but I don’t remember the names: 🐟Grilled fish, dipped in hot and sour sauce, so delicious! You can add other ingredients for a fee, we added vermicelli and tripe. 🐂Spicy beef, with all parts of the cow except the fat. 🐓Saltwater chicken, small portion, but juicy, crispy skin and tender meat 🍲Fried rice, fragrant eggs, fresh and sweet shrimps, the ingredients are well-chosen, it tastes so good that I forgot to take a photo. 😂 🍢Skewers... Egg roll sweet potato skewers, a great pairing! 😋There are other things, you can order some drinks! The food quality is good, but the price is high, so my expectations are also high, so it’s not a pleasant surprise! Until dessert... 🍧I ordered Sichuan pepper ice cream out of curiosity. It should be soy milk ice cream with ground Sichuan pepper, which is quite a combination! 🍌Carbohydrated bananas, a few normal fried bananas covered with crispy candy without any carbohydrates, but with a sugar tower attached, sesame seeds sprinkled on the top. It tastes like sesame crispy candy at first, but a bit greasy at the end. Drinking a sip of eight-treasure tea is also a perfect match. If you look out the window at the lighting on the fourth-floor platform, you’ll find that the sugar tart is very appropriate for the occasion! The internet says the average cost per person is 200, but if you want to better experience the specialties of this restaurant, the average cost per person should be at least 300 or 400. We were greedy that day, so we spent 500 per person, but we felt it was worth it! 😜 #HongKongFood #Langham PlaceFood #HongKongGoodPlaces
