#summervacay Checked out Geumsansa Temple in Gimje, and it was such a peaceful little adventure. The temple’s got this super calm energy, surrounded by trees and mountains that make you just wanna slow down and breathe it all in. The buildings are beautiful, especially the main hall with the big golden Buddha. It felt both grand and totally down-to-earth at the same time. There’s history here, but it doesn’t feel heavy or overwhelming. Just super chill and kinda magical in its own quiet way. The paths around the temple are easy to walk and perfect for wandering without a plan. I saw a few monks walking around, and the sound of the wooden temple bells in the breeze? Instant calm. Geumsansa isn’t flashy or crowded, which made it even better. If you're into peaceful vibes, pretty architecture, and a dose of Korean history without the stress, this is your spot.
