Hiking in Shibaoshan, experience a different Dali, Yunnan

If I tell you that Shibaoshan is a mountain that you must climb when you come to Dali, you might be surprised, you may not have heard of this mountain. But if I tell you about Shaxi Ancient Town, you must know it, because with the popularity of TV dramas, Shaxi has now become a popular tourist spot. In fact, not far from Shaxi Ancient Town, there is a national treasure-level mountain worth your visit, that is Shibaoshan. 🚉Travel strategy: Traditional people will definitely tell you that you can drive or video a car to the entrance of the scenic spot, but if you like poor travel, there are two ways to enter Shibaoshan. 1. The car from Jianchuan to Shaxi will pass the intersection of Shibaoshan, if you give the driver 5~10 yuan, he will send you to the entrance of the scenic spot. 2. Another way is to walk into the scenic spot from the back mountain of Shibaoshan, if you are lucky, you can also avoid the ticket. 👍Most recommended: The area of Shibaoshan is really quite large, generally it can be divided into three scenic spots, namely Baoxiang Temple, Shizhong Temple, Shadengqing. Most people will only visit the first two scenic spots and then return by the same way. If you choose to hike like me, you must not miss the last scenic spot, because the last scenic spot is a combination of grottoes and natural landscapes. 📝Note tips: 1. The area of the scenic spot is really quite large, it is recommended that if people with poor physical strength still buy a scenic spot car at the entrance and sit down to visit the first two scenic spots. 2. If you choose to hike and enter from the main entrance, the road from the main entrance to Baoxiang Temple is not too far. It's just that there are more uphill, even if you walk to the bottom of Baoxiang Temple, you need to climb a section of mountain road to see. 3. After getting off Baoxiang Temple, there is actually a small road across the road that can be worn to the next scenic spot, but because many people don't know, and few people walk this road basically abandoned, you need to ask the staff of the scenic spot to find it. 4. Although the road from Shizhong Temple to Shadengqing is a small road, it is mainly downhill, and it is high above, if you encounter sunny days, you can take beautiful photos (Figures 1-3). After going down the mountain and walking another 3~4 kilometers, it is the popular Shaxi Ancient Town.
