The Stone Treasure Mountain in Dali, Yunnan, is a seriously underrated star attraction

⛰️ Stone Treasure Mountain is located in Jianchuan, Dali. The scenic area is vast, with the main entrance 20 kilometers away from Jianchuan County, and the Shadengjing entrance only 3km from Shaxi Ancient Town. It is more enjoyable to visit for more than 2 days. 🏞️ Tourist attractions: Haiyunju Temple, Baoxiang Temple, Jinding Temple, Shilong Reservoir, and Shizhongshan Grottoes. Each place is not to be missed. In addition, Stone Treasure Mountain is a Danxia landform, and the spherical weathered rocks form unique peaks and rocks that are very distinctive, resembling turtle backs and pineapples, which can be appreciated along the way. 🚶🏻‍♂️ Brief introduction of the scenic area: 1⃣️: Haiyunju is a temple that might be deserted during the off-season. The plants and buildings are covered with moss, which surprisingly gave me a visual sense of 'Spirited Away', like an ancient temple hidden in the deep mountains. 2⃣️: Baoxiang Temple, the incense here is quite prosperous. Some Buddha statues are located on the cliffs, echoing the waterfalls coming down from the mountains, which is quite spectacular. We didn't go to Jinding Temple on the mountain top due to time constraints. 3⃣️: The focus of this trip is Shizhong Temple, where several grottoes are concentrated. The grottoes here are relatively well-preserved, meaning they have not been overly restored and retain their original appearance, which is very worth seeing. Opposite Shizhong Temple is the Lion Observation area, which takes an hour to reach on foot, but the stone figures were not open, and could only be seen through the cracks in the door. 💰 Scenic area ticket + sightseeing car inside the scenic area: 65 yuan. (If you want to see the attractions, it is not recommended to walk, as the distances between scenic spots are quite far.
