What I want to share today is the fire dragon photo I took in Putai Town, Meizhou, Guangdong. Burning the fire dragon originated from praying for good weather and good harvests. This tradition has continued for more than 300 years and is now a national intangible cultural heritage. The next one will be on February 12, 2025! Each village will use bamboo strips and paper to make dragon and fish shapes in advance, carefully paint bright patterns, and cleverly install fireworks and numerous small lights on the fire dragon. ◽️Tips: ☑️The dragon burning show usually starts at 8 o'clock. It is recommended to go there in advance to reserve a seat. The viewing effect is much better in the front row. ☑️It is recommended to wear non-slip shoes, prepare earplugs, hats, goggles and gloves to prevent burns from fireworks. ☑️During the dragon burning performance, if you are not specifically taking pictures, it is not recommended to squeeze into the crowd.
