Taoist Temple - Jingzhou Kaiyuan Temple

Jingzhou Kaiyuan Temple is located in Jiangling City and was built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty, hence the name. It is not only a key cultural relic protection unit in Hubei Province, but was also listed as a national key cultural relic protection unit in 2006. The architectural style of Kaiyuan Temple retains the characteristics of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it houses steles and Taoist cultural relics from the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. 📍Architectural Features ✅Shanmen: A wooden gatehouse-style building with a hipped roof and three doors, with a delicate and elegant shape.
