In Jiufen, a town with a nostalgic atmosphere, there are teahouses with a retro atmosphere, such as Amei Tea House, which was the model for the popular movie, and Jiufen Tea House! It is also the setting for Spirited Away. I recommend going in the evening or at night ☺︎ There were a lot of tourists and it was hard to walk, but it was definitely worth it! I recommend taking a direct bus to Jiufen! The biggest advantage is that you can get there without having to transfer and without getting lost. There are two types of direct buses. You can use them depending on the area you are staying in.
