It snowed and there was traffic, and on the way there, the cold wind made me shiver nonstop 🥶. I've put together a super comprehensive pitfall-avoidance guide. If you're planning to go, save this ⬇ —— ⭕️How to Enjoy the Scenic Area Without Mistakes ✅Book tickets in advance 🔸Tickets + shuttle bus total 160 RMB (80 + 80 RMB). The off-season allows 23,000 visitors per day. Be sure to book your tickets in advance on the "Aba Tourism Website" to avoid not getting tickets on site. ✅Get up early and queue for the first wave 🔸The park opens at 8:00 AM. If you want to explore thoroughly, get up early and queue to be among the first to enter. ✅Reverse route is stunning 🔸Don’t follow the crowd! Take the shuttle bus directly to Zechawa Valley (left line) upon entering. There are fewer people then, and you can slowly enjoy the snowy mountains along the way. ✅Learn to skip and focus on highlights 🔸Jiuzhaigou has countless lakes, but you don’t need to check in at every one. Down jackets, fleece pants, non-slip snow boots, scarves, gloves, and hats are essential. Bring heat packs too. 👉 Bring a thermos! There are hot water points in the park. Drinking hot water can relieve altitude sickness discomfort. Avoid cold drinks to prevent stomach issues. 👉 Photography: Best light from 9-11 AM. Use wide-angle for ice waterfalls.
