After that, in 1907, 32 shrines were enshrined there, and since 9 of them were village shrines, it was renamed Kokonoe Shrine. The grounds of Kokonoe Shrine are small, but the "Sudajii" tree has an overwhelming presence. The sacred chestnut tree is over 500 years old and is a preserved tree designated by Kawaguchi City. The character Sudajii, named after the Sudajii tree, is also adorable. Behind the shrine is a small hill and a stone monument engraved with Mt. Mitake. If the weather is good, you can see Mt.
