Zhejiang Lanxi Jiezi Garden | Those unaware might think it's a Suzhou garden

The Jiezi Garden was originally built in Jinling and was the private residence and villa of Li Yu, a famous figure of the early Qing dynasty. Although it is less than three acres, it indeed embodies the concept of 'a world in a pot'. Li Yu, from Lanxi, was a literary figure, playwright, drama theorist, and aesthetician at the end of the Ming and beginning of the Qing dynasties, renowned for his talent. In 1986, the 'Jiezi Garden' was reconstructed at the foot of Hengshan Tower in Lanxi. The overall structure of the residence is exquisite, with pavilions, towers, small bridges, and fish ponds, reflecting Li Yu's garden design expertise everywhere. There are many doorways, each with a unique shape, none of which are the same. Every window frame offers a different beautiful view.
