Thailand's hidden treasure! One-day Historical Tour near Bangkok

#Bangkok Itinerary Once again, we set foot on the charming land of Thailand! This is the nth time I have come to Thailand, but I discovered a treasure trove - Hua Hin Province, about 140 kilometers north of Bangkok. There are many historical relics from the Ayutthaya period preserved here. Friends who love history and culture should not miss it. It only takes about an hour to get there by express train from Bangkok. Main attractions 🗿 The main attractions in Lopburi are concentrated and can be easily reached on foot from the train station. Except for the iconic Pagoda, which had a few more tourists, there were almost no people at other attractions and it was very quiet. The entire urban area is not large, and there are no lively entertainment projects. It is especially suitable for a day trip from Bangkok or Ayutthaya. It is perfect to set aside three or four hours to slowly explore and feel the sedimentation of history. [1] Phra Prang Sam Yot, a landmark of Lopburi, was built when the Khmer people established their capital. Its architectural style is very similar to that of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. (See Figures 7 - 11) [2] Prang Khaek, one of the oldest architectural sites in Lop Buri, is a Khmer-style brick pagoda. [3] Ban Chao Phraya Wichayen was built by King Narai as a residence for French envoys. The architecture combines Thai and European styles. [4] Wat Phra Sri Ratanamahathat, built in the 11th-12th century, is located opposite the Lopburi Railway Station and covers a large area. [5] King Narai Museum, very close to Prang Khaek. Tickets: The entrance fee to the temple is 50 baht, and only 10 baht for Thais. The museum entrance fee is 150 baht, 50 baht for Thais. Transportation From Bangkok Bang Sue Train Station (Krung Thep Aphiwat). Departure: Take the 9:05 Express train, arriving in about 1 hour and 23 minutes; Return: Take the 14:39 Rapid train, arrive in Bangkok at 17:20, then transfer to the MRT Blue Line to leave.
