Khun Tan Tunnel

Khun Tan Tunnel is considered the longest railway tunnel in Thailand. With a length of 1.3 kilometers, it is the longest out of the 7 railway tunnels in Thailand at present (as of September 11, 2020). It was built by the Royal State Railway of Siam, commanded by General Prince Purachatra Jayakara, Prince of Kamphaengphet Akarayothin, and supervised by a German engineer (Emil Eisenhofer). Since then, the Khun Tan Tunnel has gone through a perfect period of history and nature. We therefore see almost every tourist asking to take a photo as a souvenir. There are many ways to travel to Khun Tan, but for those who do not have a private car, it is easy to travel to Khun Tan.
