Ban Mae Tha is located in Lamphun province, near Doi Khun Tan area along the Lamphun-Chiang Mai superhighway. You can travel by private car. Along the way, you will pass a meditation center before reaching this minimal terraced rice field. The place is peaceful and shady. You will encounter the simple lifestyle of the locals and an irrigation system made from local wisdom. There is a camping spot for tourists on the hill.
