Echoes of the Past at Nagoya Castle

#summervacay Nagoya Castle is a quiet, beautiful place right in the heart of the city. Its tall white walls and traditional rooftops instantly take you back in time. We enjoyed a slow walk through the wide, open grounds, passing stone walls and peaceful trees. The highlight was exploring the restored Hommaru Palace. Inside, the painted doors and wooden details were stunning simple, but full of history. Even without the main tower open, the castle still offered a rich experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, reflect, and appreciate the calm strength of old Japan.
