Hoshinoya Resort OMO5 Okinawa Naha, a guided tour of Shuri Castle and the market

#2024TravelReview I went on a 3-day, 2-night trip to Okinawa on a whim. I stayed at the Hoshinoya Resort's #omo5 Okinawa Naha for the first time. It is close to the Kenchomae Station of the Naha Light Rail, and is only a few minutes' walk away. I can even walk to the bustling Kokusai-dori. The geographical location is impeccable. This time we stayed in a twin room. The official website indicated that the room size was 19 square meters. Probably because there were two beds and the bathroom was separated into independent dry and wet areas, I always felt that the space in the room was not big. Fortunately, there is a comfortable long sofa by the window and the bed is also comfortable to sleep on. As for the room rate, a twin room costs $3,000 per night, and breakfast costs an additional $269. To be honest, Taiwanese people have an inexplicable love for the Hoshino brand, and many of the guests staying at the hotel are Taiwanese. In addition to the hotel's design, novelty and comfort, OMO's biggest selling point is its free guided tours, which come in two routes: Shuri Castle or Makishi Market.
