“Wat Sala Loi”, an ancient temple in Korat for more than 200 years

“Wat Sala Loi” is an old temple that the people of Korat have respected for almost 200 years. It is a sacred place that the people of Korat highly respect and is a temple that Thao Suranari built with Phraya Suriyadet or Palat Thongkham, the deputy governor of Nakhon Ratchasima, her husband, after winning the war at Thung Samrit in 2370. This temple also contains the remains of Thao Suranari and the relics of the Lord Buddha in the old chapel.
