Wat Khiriwong, Nakhon Sawan Province

A beautiful temple in Nakhon Sawan, home to Phra Chulamani, a sacred object of Nakhon Sawan. Today, we did not miss the opportunity to pay homage to the sacred object at Wat Khiriwong. Wat Khiriwong is located in Pak Nam Pho Subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province. The highlight of the temple is the Ubosot, a replica of Somdej Phra Buddha Khodom, the Phutthanuphap Hall, the Luang Pho To Shrine, and the Phra Chulamani Chedi, which is considered another important place of worship in the province because it is a sacred pagoda of Nakhon Sawan. Phra Chulamani Chedi has 4 floors. The first floor is where incense and candles are lit for worship. The second floor has life-size statues of famous Thai monks, including Somdej Phra Buddhacarya (To Phrommarangsi), Luang Pu Thuad of Wat Chang Hai, Luang Pho Sot of Wat Pak Nam, and replicas of the footprints of the 12 zodiac signs for tourists to pay homage and apply gold leaf for good luck. On the third floor, outside, you will find a statue of Luang Pho Maha Bunrod. The creator of this great pagoda enshrined the relics on a small pagoda pedestal, which can be entered to pay homage. In addition, there are many replicas of Buddha images, such as the Emerald Buddha, the replica of Phra Buddha Chinnarat, the replica of Phra Buddha Sothon, and the cast Buddha image of Luang Pho Wat Rai Khing. On the last floor, you can see a panoramic view of Nakhon Sawan. The time when most tourists come to see the view is probably when the sun sets. The view in front of you is a panoramic view of the city. Looking to the east, you can see Khao Kop, Bueng Boraphet, the source of the Chao Phraya River, and Khao Chom Khiri Nak Prot. To the west, there are mountains surrounding you, along with the orange sunlight falling to the ground. Everyone must raise their phones to take pictures in front of them.
