Newly Opened: New Taipei City Art Museum - A Contemporary Art Park Amidst Reeds

The New Taipei City Art Museum (referred to as "New Art Museum"), located at the confluence of Yingge Creek and Dahan River in the San-Ying New Development Area, officially opened on April 25, 2025. Designed by Yao Ren-Xi and the Great Yuan Architecture Workshop, this project cost approximately NT$2.1 billion. This 8-story above-ground and 3-story underground building features an exterior composed of clusters of aluminum tubes of varying heights, resembling reeds swaying in the wind. The design gives the impression that the structure is growing out of the land.
