Challenging Africa's Highest Peak - Mount Kilimanjaro

This journey is a true test of physical limits! For my first time climbing abroad, I chose Africa's highest peak - Mount Kilimanjaro. Many people share that although this mountain has a high altitude, with perseverance, you can successfully reach the summit. However, for someone like me who doesn't usually exercise, even though I was the youngest member of the team, I had the worst stamina. I chose a 6-day, 5-night route. Initially, the path was smooth and relatively easy to walk, but as the altitude increased, the challenges gradually emerged. Altitude sickness began to affect my condition, causing loss of appetite, increased heart rate, and even some nausea. Despite this, I persisted and took one step at a time. Finally, when I stood at the summit, overlooking the magnificent scenery, all the fatigue and discomfort turned into a sense of accomplishment. This climbing experience not only challenged myself but also witnessed my perseverance and determination!
