Yelepaya Pagoda

Yele Paya Pagoda, or as the Burmese call it, Kyauktan Yele Paya, is a pagoda temple on a small island in the middle of a river. According to beliefs, Yele Paya Pagoda is a popular pagoda for merchants and businessmen because it is believed that if anyone has the opportunity to come and pray at Yele Paya Pagoda, their business will flourish. Inside the pagoda, there is also a Buddha statue enshrined in the center of the pagoda, made of marble covered in gold, very beautiful. You have to take a boat across to get there.
