Huis Ten Bosch: A Miffy-Filled Day Trip & Hotel Stay! 🌷🐰

#summervacay My one-day adventure to Huis Ten Bosch was fantastic! We traveled from Fukuoka's Hakata Station in the afternoon, and the train ride took about 1 hour and 50 minutes. There are frequent trains, so no need to buy tickets in advance. We stayed at the Hotel Europe inside Huis Ten Bosch. While it's an older hotel, the rooms are wonderfully maintained. Staying here gets you complimentary park tickets for the next day, so you can enter after 3 PM on your arrival day by just buying a half-day ticket. (The Hotel Amsterdam offers the same perk and might even have a slightly better location.) Both hotels offer convenient boat access directly into the park from a pier right at the entrance. I've included the boat schedule at the end of my post. A huge tip! When you arrive by train, there's a service at the bridge that can take your luggage directly to the hotel, saving you from dragging it through the park. They'll even deliver it back to the exit when you check out! (I wish I had known this before I hauled my luggage all the way in!) The park operates from 10 AM to 9 PM, but most attractions close by 8 PM. At 8:10 PM, there's a 10-minute singing performance followed by a small fireworks display, which my child absolutely loved!
