Shanghai Greenhouse Garden | Zootopia is Absolutely Super Photogenic!!!

I avoided the holiday peak and couldn't wait to check it out!! I've seen many complaints online saying it's not worth the ticket price, but I found it super worthwhile! Even on a rainy day ☔️ the photos turn out amazing, not to mention on sunny days ☀️ when light fills the entire venue. Highly recommended for families/couples/friends, where you can immerse yourself in a jungle adventure experience~ I departed from Suzhou, and the high-speed train 🚄 got me to Shanghai quickly. I'd like to recommend a boutique hotel 🏨 that I frequently stay at called Houju Hotel, located in the center of Shilu and close to the high-speed railway station. It's very convenient with subway access 😏 so you don't need to wake up early to catch your train. I love the hotel's color scheme 💕 which has a strong vintage vibe and is also Instagram-worthy. If you're visiting Suzhou and don't know where to stay, come to Houju~ 📍Location: Shanghai Greenhouse Garden (inside Shanghai World Expo Culture Park) 🎫Tickets: 98 yuan on working days/128 yuan on weekends 🕐Hours: 9:00-17:00, last entry at 16:30 🚇Transportation: Metro Line 7 to Houtan Station (Exit 4, about 10-15 minutes walk); Taxi 🚙 select "Shanghai Greenhouse Garden" 🚗Driving: P5 parking lot is closest! 🗺Travel Guide 1⃣️Desert Mirage 🏜🌵 The Desert Mirage pavilion is my favorite! It simulates a hot arid ecological environment where you can see unique desert plants 🌵 and the legendary largest baobab tree in Asia 🌲 2⃣️Cloud Forest 🌳🌿 The Cloud Forest pavilion simulates a tropical rainforest environment, taking you through spaces from sky to underwater. The highly photogenic "Underwater Forest" is in this pavilion! You can also walk on the V-shaped bridge for photos and enjoy a different view of the rainforest wonders 👀 3⃣️Misty Valley ⛰️ Compared to pavilions 1 and 2, pavilion 3 is slightly less impressive with fewer highlights. This pavilion features "Flowers in the Sky" as its theme, feeling like you've instantly arrived at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay 4⃣️Shanghai "Altay" The legendary Shanghai Altay is truly beautiful (when it's not crowded 🤣). Spread a picnic blanket on the vast lawn 🌿 by the lake, bring some coffee ☕️ and you can relax all afternoon 🍱Dining 👉Location: Various light meals and coffee options available in the park ✅Recommendation: Try the park's specialty snacks and enjoy family time. 🚌Sightseeing Car 🔹Service: If you're tired, you can take the scenic tour car to easily explore the park. 🔹Route: The tour car covers Twin Mountains, Greenhouse Garden, and Moli Playground. 📸Photography: (‼️Personally I think coming between 12:00-15:00 offers the best sunlight penetration and angles) In pavilions 2⃣️ and 3⃣️ you can capture plenty of sunlight filtering through green leaves, which makes for fantastic photos 😎 👗Outfit: Light colors are recommended, and casual resort style works best~ ⚠️Tips: 1⃣️On a nice day, it's worth the ticket price with beautiful scenery ➕ great photo opportunities! The area is larger than Singapore's Cloud Forest 😯 2⃣️It takes 2-3 hours to tour the greenhouse, but if you look closely, half a day is needed 3⃣️On weekends, the greenhouse has moderate crowds, but Twin Mountains gets extremely packed 🥲 4⃣️After visiting, you can go to Twin Mountains (reserve in advance 🆓), Moli Playground 🆓 or camp on the large lawn ⛺️ ☝️Summary: Although the tickets are a bit expensive, the overall experience on a working day is quite good. You can see plants 🪴 that you don't normally see, making it suitable for dates and walks. However, on holidays... I recommend going as early as possible to avoid crowds 👩
