Blossom Manoir Lujiazui... it definitely left a lasting impression on me during my stay.

Stepping into that courtyard felt like stepping back in time, a little oasis tucked away amidst the modern buzz of Lujiazui. The architecture, that oriental-house feel with the connecting corridors, was so different from the usual towering hotels you find in that area – it had a real character to it. The welcome I received was genuinely warm. There was someone right there to help with my bag, and the check-in process was smooth, accompanied by a much-appreciated bottle of home-brew tea and a small glass of whiskey. It was a lovely touch that made me feel instantly at ease. And the old house tour? Definitely take them up on that if you have the time! It really brought the history of the place to life and gave context to the unique design. My room was a comfortable haven. I remember being pleasantly surprised by the selection in the mini-bar – it went beyond the usual standard offerings. Did I mention the hand drawing welcome letter? And yes, the bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept like a log after a long day of exploring Shanghai, and perhaps because of the "good night soup" as the turndown service. I did have breakfast at their restaurant one morning. It was a decent spread with a mix of Western and Chinese options. While it wasn't the most extravagant buffet I've ever seen, the quality was good, and the setting was pleasant. The location was fantastic for exploring. Being so close to the Shanghai Tower and a relatively short taxi ride to the Bund made getting around really convenient. While I didn't personally use public transport extensively from that immediate spot, I knew I was in a well-connected part of the city. The hospitality here is on another level. Any of my requests, got done almost immediately. The staffs always smile and take care of me like a fa mily. Overall, my experience at Blossom Manoir Lujiazui was really positive. It offered a unique and charming alternative to the typical business hotel. The blend of traditional aesthetics, attentive service, and convenient location made it a memorable stay. I'd definitely consider staying there again if I find myself back in Shanghai. It's a place with a soul, which is something you don't always find. #travel #staycation #shanghai #china #boutiquehotels
