Rainy Season Pool Experience at W Shanghai Hotel

What’s it like swimming at W Shanghai Hotel during the rainy season? I was hoping to relive the beauty of the outdoor pool with its blue skies, white clouds, and sparkling waters, but unfortunately, it started raining, and the outdoor pool was closed 😭. So, I had to settle for the indoor pool, gazing longingly outside. On the bright side, fewer people meant I could swim to my heart’s content! The fitness center is located on the 4th floor, with facilities arranged as follows: changing rooms ➡️ gym ➡️ indoor pool ➡️ outdoor pool. The indoor heated pool is 1.2 - 1.4 meters deep and 25 meters long, with lighting that gives off a futuristic vibe, perfectly matching W Hotel’s signature style. There are lounge chairs and a hot tub by the poolside, making it incredibly relaxing to soak after a swim! Speaking of the changing rooms, they’re a hidden gem! Equipped with sauna chairs, hot tubs, and yoga beds, the vacation vibes are off the charts 🥳. Essentials like hair dryers and clothes dryers are readily available, and the mini fridge stocked with chilled drinking water is a refreshing touch—attention to detail is top-notch! Still longing for the outdoor pool, I snapped a few photos by the edge. Whether it’s day or night, the views are stunning 📷. Even during the rainy season, the indoor pool experience here is fantastic. Highly recommend it to everyone!
