Disney’s 9th Anniversary: Be a Happy Kid This Summer

To celebrate its ninth anniversary, Shanghai Disneyland Resort has introduced a series of all-new experiences featuring new characters, new activities, new settings, and new delights. Join us to witness the wonders that are about to unfold. Beginning on June 16, Tinker Bell will make her debut at the Shanghai Disneyland Resort Ninth Anniversary Celebration. From June 16 to July 15, she will appear for a limited time in Fantasyland to interact with guests—be sure to visit her for a touch of shimmering pixie dust. Starting on June 27, 2025, the brand-new immersive exhibition, Pixar odyssey, will open in Tomorrowland. Visitors will step into the world of Pixar and embark on a journey of growth as they revisit the magical realms of Inside Out, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Turning Red, Coco, Up, and Soul, capturing every delicate moment along the way. From June 26, in honor of Stitch Day, the new Stitch community, Stitch’s intergalactic adventure, will officially debut in the outdoor area of Tomorrowland. Guests will also have the chance to randomly encounter Stitch, Lilo, and Angel at the space portal. Celebratory activities will take place on Stitch Day, and a new interactive game area, Super Galactic Players, is set to launch in the fall—inviting everyone to become part of Stitch’s ohana for endless adventures and joyful play. Beginning on June 16, the new Little Adventurers Camp will open on Adventure Isle. Young explorers can fully enjoy challenges such as rope courses, climbing structures, slides, steps, and sand pits, all set within three classic immersive themes: the African savanna from The Lion King, the ocean wonders of Finding Nemo, and the cloud-bound adventures of Up. From June 20 to August 31, the park will embrace its summer theme with a series of festive events. The park will transform into a continuously surprising “mystery box,” hosting an unmissable water party and ocean adventures with beloved characters. Whether attending the summer carnival castle show at the enchanted fairytale castle, the Duffy colorful summer parade, the Toy Story backyard summer water party, the Wreck-It Ralph outrageous dance party, or the much-anticipated return of the Rhythm Adventure Journey, the celebrations have begun and water guns are at the ready for a refreshing burst of fun.
