Shenzhen Nanshan Adventure | A new weekend choice for workers 🏞️

An essential thing to do in Shenzhen: hiking! Shenzhen has so many mountains, city photography enthusiasts are ecstatic! After a hearty aerobic workout, quietly watching the lights of the city's CBD come on and cargo ships return to the port is a healthy romance. This weekend, workers’ schedule starts with climbing Nanshan Mountain. 📍Photography location: Qitian Pavilion, Nanshan Park Go up the mountain from the Nanshan Park Villa hiking trail, walk along the winding mountain road for 15 minutes to reach the climbing stairs, and then climb up for about 25 minutes. The whole journey takes about 40 to 50 minutes. There are several corners facing the sea along the way with beautiful scenery, and it is great to take a break. Go down the mountain and take another flatter road with street lights, which will be turned off at 9:30. ▪️Qitian Pavilion has a very good view. To the northeast, you can see Shenzhen Bay, Chunsun and Ping An Financial Center in the same frame. To the southeast, you can take pictures of the Shenzhen Bay Bridge. To the south is Shekou Port and the New Territories on the opposite bank. To the northwest, you can take pictures of Bao'an Airport and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Yangtze River Expressway passing by. ▪️It is recommended to arrive half an hour before sunset. When the sun sets, the high-rise buildings in Nanshan Futian CBD will reflect golden light, which is very beautiful! The half hour after sunset is the precious blue hour, when the blue sky and the row upon row of cities appear in the same frame, creating the most beautiful picture. ▪️The climbing stairs are quite steep, so you can bring a trekking pole to assist. There are no shops on the mountain, but you can buy water from the vending machines at the foot of the mountain before going up.
