Shiraz, Iran|The Persian soul of "Roses and Nightingales"

Shiraz is the Persian soul of "Roses and Nightingales", a city of poetry that gave birth to Hafez and Saadi, the four pillars of Persian literature, akin to China's Li Bai and Du Fu. 📔 Hafez is Iran's most romantic poet, often mentioning roses and nightingales in his poetry. In Iran, the distribution of Hafez's poetry collection is second only to the Quran, and an edition of "The Collection of Hafez's Poems" is a must on the table during the Iranian New Year. 📚 Saadi's poetry, on the other hand, is more concerned with the suffering of the people and the praise of labor. Saadi loved to travel, similar to Li Bai, and he traveled extensively, reportedly even visiting Kashgar in Xinjiang. It is also said that when Ibn Battuta traveled to the Southern Song Dynasty, he heard a songstress in Hangzhou singing Saadi's poetry. 🛕 To commemorate these two great poets, Shiraz has built tombs for Hafez and Saadi. Isfahan, due to its location on the Silk Road, has developed commerce, so people are shrewd, business-minded, and care more about money; Yazd, because it is located in the desert, lacks water and various resources, so they maximize the value of certain things. 🏡 Perhaps nourished by poetry, the people of Shiraz are more emotionally rich and delicate, and they treat life in a more 'Buddhist' manner. 👧 Shiraz is also known for its beautiful women, the biggest feature being their large eyes, with eyelashes that seem to be glued on. On the streets of Shiraz, you will also see many book stalls and newsstands, which have already become history in our country. 🌟 There are many fun places in Shiraz, such as the Pink Mosque, Eram Garden, Ali Ibn Hamza Shrine, Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bazaar, and the ruins of Persepolis. 📣 The poet Jahan said: When spring comes to Shiraz, the joy is incomparable: Sitting by the stream, drinking, kissing, drumming, playing the flute, Strumming the lute and the harp in harmony; And with the good people here, Shiraz truly brings joy.
