Easy to go from Tokyo, easy to leave the city, takes a few hours to Miyagi and Sendai by Shinkansen to see foxes at Zao Fox Village. They are so cute 😍.🦊 Atmosphere 🦊- We went during winter, it was snowing, the village was so cute. - There are 2 zones: :: Outside, you can walk around and see the foxes in the cage. We thought it was pitiful, so we didn't get to see much 🥺 :: Inside the village, this is open. We could walk in and watch them live their lives. They are so cute, all so cute. In fact, they don't come to bite or bother people much, but be careful.✨🦊 Don't miss it 🦊✨- There will be a round of taking pictures with the foxes, additional cost 600 yen per person. This is a must-do, definitely don't miss it. - The staff will carry the foxes and place them on our laps. They are very soft and warm. We fell for them. - You can give your phone to the staff. They will take pictures for you. They take beautiful pictures. 🦊 Recommendation 🦊- Follow the staff's instructions for safety. - If you can't take anything in, you can leave it there. When you come out, take it back. - When you enter the fox village, it will be open. There is a sign that prohibits photography in the first area, so don't take pictures yet. Walk inside and take pictures. 🚃 How to get there 🚃 1) Take the Shinkansen to Shiroishi-Zao Station and walk to the bus stop in front of the station. (We took it from Ueno for about 2 hours.) 2) Take the bus to Zao Fox Village. - There are two rounds on the way there: around 10 am and 1 pm. - There are two rounds on the return trip: around noon and 3 pm. **The bus runs only on Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon and public holidays.**. 🛎️ Expenses 🛎️- We used the JR Whole Pass for the Shinkansen, so there was no additional fee. - Round-trip bus fare to the village is 1,500 yen per person. - Admission fee is 1,000 yen per person. - Fee for taking pictures with the fox is 600 yen per person. ⭐️ 100/10, I like it very much.
